With the release of the new (and expensive) map pack for Modern Warfare 2, Microsoft is offering the Night Vision Goggles avatar item for free till April 4th.  Also, if you purchased this item before this promotion started, you will be credited the purchase cost by May 1st.

Thanks for headsup. Though right now I was big enough of a fool to purchase a US Army Ranger outfit (refer to my display picture) and a riot shield so I probably won't wear it. Still, pretty neat. =P

downloaded as soon as i saw it on the marketplace. pretty cool i have to say.

Cool, thanks for the notice.  I have some COG armor I bought a long time ago, it looks pretty alright together.
