So for some reason I'm unable to play my copy of MKX because this error keeps popping up during the splash screen causing the whole game to crash to the PS4 front end. I was curious on if any of you duders are experiencing this issue. The game was working fine last week, but now all of the sudden refuses to work. I have the Digital version.

I think it has something to do with NR's servers or something. I can play the game fine offline. Once it boots to the home screen I re-log into PSN and seem to be able to play alright. Odd glitch.

I was getting this error last night. Redownloaded, still didn't work. Deleted my saves, still didn't work. Only after that did I find a few posts around the internet saying it was related to online stuff.

There was another thread last night talking about the same exact issues. From the posts on the other thread sounds like network issues with the game.

Happened to me the first time I fired it up and watched the intro faction video. Didn't happen again but I haven't played it the last two days.

I posted in the old thread but fuck it, this thread actually has the name of the issue in the title so it may get more people seeing it. Just go to your PS4 network settings and turn off network connection, then relaunch the game and once you are actually on the main menu I think you're good to turn the network back on. If I had to guess I'd say the issue was related to the WB account stuff because the game was clearly checking something when I was getting the error and launching the game with no network connection means they bypass the WB account check.

Oh one thing I will note, I had to wait about between 2 and 5 minutes to log back into my WB account, it was telling me the account was in use, but after that wait it was all good.

It's definitely something to do with WB Play. My game worked fine until I connected my account.

@matatat: I don't think it's related to the WB account, cause I haven't connected or even made an account, but I still get the error. Since the error popped up shortly after I had started getting errors with the faction system being unable to connect, I think that might be the cause. It's definitely something internet related though.

It has something to do with that initial server check when you launch the game. If you disconnect your network you can get in without any problems (and then reconnect to your network). WB is finally starting to take notice of the issue.

Happening to me as well. It's quite annoying.

I tried to get a refund because I'm tired of broken games at this point, but Sony declined it. I do hope WB fixes this soon.

Sign out of PSN, start the game, sign back in once at the main menu.

This bug hit me last night. How annoying.

had it once during preload which was annoying but fine

had it crash after I beat a klassik tower though which pissed me off.

Read that it's possibly an issue on the WB side in which the licenses for the digital version of the game were accidentally deleted.
