The one that uses the little kid as a projectile. Doesn't that character seem a little messed up? Because I mean isn't she a child or is she just like a midget? Because if she is a child and can be a victim of a fatality it would be kind of messed up cuz you know its a kid and whatnot.

Is that one character from MKX messed up?
Maybe it's because I'm dead on the inside, but it wouldn't bother me one bit if it turned out to be a kid.
Everything in that MKX trailer was 'messed up'. It seemed pretty clear to me that she was a small woman, but even if she's a kid, she's a terrifying kid riding a mutated giant trying to kill you in any number of gruesome ways.
I think it's way weirder beating the shit out of someone like...
If you look at the trailer and watch the gameplay anytime the character is hit it's the big guy taking all of the damage the little one falls off/into the background. So I am sure the little one will never be in any actual harm.
I am also all for calling them Piggybak and Bakpak until further notice.
The kid falls of every time the big monster takes a huge hit. I don't think the rascal has been actually hurt.
Besides, MK is messed for many other reasons.
@acidbrandon18: please, for the sake of our sanity, read the stickies and post in the correct forum. MK X or even E3 would have been fine in this case.
Moving.
The kid falls of overtime the big monster takes a huge hit. I don't think the rascal has been actually hurt.

Yeah, MK is messed up for a ton of stuff but with their legacy (yanno, creatin the ESRB) they ain't dumb. They are not about to make Kid Killer 2015. I just rewatched the footage again and I don't even think the little grommit is even in the block animation. 100% safe.

Yeah, the big monster guy seems to be taking all the hits, the kid just keeps climbing back.
Well it was only matter of time before Babalities got combined with Fatalities.
Well considering were going to be able to assumingly use johnny cage to horrifically murder his daughter Cassie or Visa versa child murder wouldn't be too far off the beaten path of the kind of messed up this game is going for.
The little woman never takes damage, at best she falls off. From what I've seen, all the fatalities and X rays are centered at the big lumbering brute, the little woman is just the personality.
- Kung Lao - Throws hats to decapitate people
- Raiden - God of Thunder who has visions of people dying
- Goro - In the MK movie gets humiliated by Johnny Cage by getting punched in the balls
- Jax - Gets his arms messed up and gets cybernetic arms.
- Cyrax - Gets betrayed by the Lin Kiu program and gets turned into a cyborg
- Scorpion - Gets his entire family annihilated by the Lin Kiu family. Makes a deal with Quan Chi for mortality, ends up as a slave all in order to serve out justice on Sub-Zero and the Lin Kiu.
- Sub-Zero - Gets decapitated by Scorpion.
- Johnny Cage - He's Johnny Cage.
- Sonya Blade - Get's hit on by Johnny Cage.
- Liu Kang - Served as a zombie in one of the MK games.
- ETC - ???
Point being the MK universe is kinda messed up to begin with.
This video should answer your question on whether the kid is killed in the fatality or not. Go to 2:44 of the video and you'll see the kid falls off the big guy's back and the big guy takes the fatality only.
@demoskinos: That was already possible with Kitana and Sindel.
Maybe it's because I'm dead on the inside, but it wouldn't bother me one bit if it turned out to be a kid.
The internet has made me completely hardened. Virtual child murder? Whatever.
Is it actually a child or is it just a very small person?
I got a serious Master Blaster vibe off that character.
Normally in a game I might think it was a little too far but being it's MK it didn't even cross my mind that it might be an issue.
Well, I don't really like how much people have been throwing around the term "midget" over this, but yeah, if she is a child it looks like she's not involved in any of the fatalities and I think that's the right move. I'm all for the intense gory stuff in Mortal Kombat but killing kids in the most gruesome manner possible? That'd be in poor taste.
@gamer_152: Everything in MK is in poor taste.
@corruptedevil: It's gross and gory, but kid-killing is another level entirely from what they're doing.
