Second one reminds me of Michael Myers. (the wild hair and the precedence of horror icons)

I love horror guest characters, so that could be cool, if a bit too similar to Jason.

So we these are the conveniently "o.p." characters everyone will be using in the next 2-3 major tournaments?

I'm going to make the hot guess that Rain might be one of those characters.

Unless one of them is a cyborg-ninja, I will continue to not care about MKX.

Its more than likely the rumored "Story Pack" with Baraka, Bo Rai Cho, Fujin, and Rain(ugh). Also, the Portal stage

My guesses for the DLC characters: Rain, Baraka, Sindel and Smoke (who I deeply want to return).

Kratos, Violent J for ICP, John madden, and Dave Lang

Kirby, king dede, snake, and tails

Turns out the announcement was just that there will be an announcement some time in the first half of next year.

I've grown used to Ed Boon's trolling and teasing, but this was just a poor show all around.

"Here's a picture of the Pit stage and a picture of four new characters! Come back tomorrow for the reveal!"

"And the big reveal is... a new stage and four new characters to be revealed within the next nine months. Come back if you still care in nine months for the big reveal!"
