Guess I can't complain because I got the season pass and actually wanted the other three characters, so this is pretty much free.

Damn, so many bummed people in here. I think Freddy is rad. I'm actually glad they went crazy for this as I couldn't care less about any of the MK characters that aren't already in the game.

Reading the hardcores get all uppity about the addition of Freddy Kruger is pretty hilarious, I must say. Comparatively speaking, the addition of Freddy (and Kratos for that matter) is probably far and away more awesome than anything post-UMK3 to begin with.

For anyone that wants to defend MK4 and is likely pro-Tanya/Fujin/whatever...

Well, it looks like my hopes and dreams of playing as Bo Rai Cho will have to wait until Mk10

New style Freddy sucks, however it's still a good character choice i think. Old Freddy would have been awesome though.

You can play online without the compatibility packs, it just means people who have paid for the content won't be able to use it in matches against those who don't. So yeah, it's a pretty great way to protest.

From my experiences, the game desyncs and locks up if you don't have the compatibility pack. So yea, good luck.
