Gameplay
Skill Shot
There is a series of lights at the top of the plunger lane that will alternate while a new ball is ready to be launched. Depending on what color the light is will give the player certain point rewards. The lights will randomly not use the red light light in the cycle.
The point values for the skill shots are as follows:
- Red/Unlit - No points will be awarded.
- Yellow - 20,000 points.
- Green - 100,000 points.
Video Mode
In Motor Show there are three different games that are played on the cabinets video screen.
- Formula 1 - The goal of the Formula 1 game is to get to the finish line while avoiding the AI cars. The car is moved to the left by using the left flipper button while it is moved to the right using the right flipper button. The car can be shifted up or down by pressing both flipper buttons at the same time. If the game is won a two ball multiball will be started. If the game is failed it will release a locked ball.
- Motocross - The goal in Motocross is to navigate a motocross rider through an obstacle course avoiding logs, rocks, and a river. Just as in the Formula 1 game if the player wins this game a two ball multiball will be started and if the player loses it will release a locked ball.
- Dragster - The goal in Dragster is to win a drag race against an AI opponent. The player takes control of a dragster which goes faster depending on how fast the player mashes on the machines flipper buttons.
Multiball
Once either the Motocross or Formula 1 video modes are completed successfully a two ball multiball will be started. The original ball will be returned to the plunger allowing the player to try and successfully complete another skill shot. Once the original ball has been re-launched the locked ball will be released which starts the multiball.
