Real-Time Tactics
The only strategy game that I have ever liked, Kessen was alright, but nothing special and Kessen II was just weird. There were a few others but I can't remember them.
Gameplay
There's no resource management, base building or level grinding. All your going to have is battle tactics and the AI gets pretty hard at times. Your always going to be outnumbered, so you better take care of your troops, mainly your archers and dwarfs, know how to use them and make sure they don't hurt the others or themselves.
Graphics
The characters have a graphic novel look to them, but the attention to detail on them is quite impressive, even from the above view angle (you can zoom in) and the update mods. Like with real medieval battles, there's blood, lost limbs, and guts.
Story
Taking place 60 years after the last game, Soulblighter and The Fallen Lords have returned, but as the narrator (a common foot solider) says, the once legendary armies and leaders are no more, only Alric reminds, which raises the stakes. The storyboard art was very well done and the narrator really made the game come alive.
It had a very good ending to the series, but unlike some fans, I hope that was the ending, since Soulbligter wasn't The Leveler and tried to force the cycle, Alric won't return as the Leveler, the cycle has finally been broken. The series had a beginning (Myth III), middle (Myth), and ending (Myth II), it doesn't need to keep going on, repeating the same storyline of the Leveler coming back.
