The plot brings up aspects of irrational and subconscious dream viewing and near death experience. The main character, a mid-aged writer, who has recently got back from long-term wanderings in North Seas, receives an invitation letter from his brother – a scientist and professor at a university, whom he hasn’t seen for years, and decides to visit him.
