Well everyone in existence owns The Orange Box so TF2 should work.

I remember those, yeah some random user hosts his own server and we get together on that on a random night. Unless someone can provide a regular BG server, I would so down for that.
I have a TF2 server,although it's not really made for pub play. I use it for traditional 6v6 so if we have 12 people who just wanna get some TF2 in I can suffice a server.

Hate to brake it to you,but when someone says "I play a lot of PC games" You can wager that most of them sure as hell aren't talking about M&B :D
I also would do this and think its a great idea. Some ideas that i think might be good:
Start first week with tf2 since most people have it and it's generally like.
Do a poll type thing the week before so we can vote on what games the most of us have and want to play together. (I see this heavily dominated by steam sales or valve games because of how prolific they are.)
Maybe some half life 2 mods since most people own at least one steam game so it'd be free. It could be interesting since we could all check out some mods that don't have a community that play it otherwise anymore.
In a similar fashion, we could have some classic gaming nights once in a while. Warcraft, diablo, homeworld, the skies the limit.
What day and time are you guys planning to have this thing? It could be nice to have it on thursdays since tnt is already that day. Maybe we could even coerce dave or mike into joining us on occasion.
But anyway, i'm down for anything, even if it just turns out to be tf2 once in a while.
Well the great thing about new Steam UI is that when we add each other to friends, we can see what games each other own. I'm totally down for a TF2 night, M&B Warband is really fun with lots of people in vent or something.

At first I thought you'd be good (like pug.na experience and whatnot) but after looking at your stats...you have some lobby experience....nice :D
We need all the people who have league experience (myself and turbomonkey) to start scriming and whatnot.
is any body down for mount and blade war band? if we could have 3 nights of games like Monday could be counterstrike, Wednesday could be war band and Friday could be TF2
