I never heard of the second one and my last card was an msi and it ran great, but im not sure about the cooler on that one. Seems different than reference but not sure if its better or worse.

I have a different MSI 1070 and it's fine. Haven't used KFA personally but there seem to be 2 differences. The KFA is slightly faster, but it's a slight difference. The other is MSI gives you a 3 year warrenty but KFA gives 2. I can't compare the reliability of KFA vs MSI but MSI is slightly more established.

Either one is fine. Edit: Oh yeah, the cooler on the MSI is the same as the reference, whereas my MSI cards cooler is more like the KFA.

Ok thanks, does that mean the cooler is better on the KFA?

That particular MSI is a blower-type cooler. I'm not much of a fan of those since they tend to be louder and I have more enough airflow going through my case to exhaust open air cooling (like the KFA you linked). MSI and KFA each put out both blower and open air cards, so beyond that you'll want to look at the factory overclock they're doing and decide how much you want to pay.
