The calculator says $1257.03   but I bought most things on special. I'd say 3-500 would be more accurate.

    Steam Calculator says:

    $2025.48

Steam Recent Steam Store Transactions Total:

    $612.99

Which excludes about $70 of games I bought retail that are tied to my steam account.

I only buy games that are on sale and generally they have to be on sale and less than $10 per game title.  For the amount of games I have on back  log I can wait for any game to come down on price.

Way too much - I'm a sucker for the weekend deals and such. What I love about Steam though - you can grab a fun game for 3 bucks and then the next week grab another.

That Steam calculator gives me this:

    $2562.20

But it also doesn't take into account sales. I'd like to think I've only spent a third of that, but even that is a lot of money.

I don't actually know. Would I count Valve games that run on Steam now that I didn't buy on Steam? I don't think so. I got L4D and the Valve Platinum Pack outside of Steam. So that leaves the Orange Box, L4D2, Audiosurf, and DEFCON. So maybe about 105 bucks I have spent through only Steam. I am sure I am missing something though.

More than I would like, worst part I'm a console gamer for the most part. I play maybe 5 hours of pc games if I'm reviewing or working on anything involving a PC game meaning of the shit ton of money I have spent on steam I have probably gotten like 15% of it's value. My wallet crys itself to sleep at night missing the bills it once contained.

$880 according to the calculator for 43 games.
Although, in reality I probably spent around $400 buying from Steam, and about $170 in retail on games that required Steam. So it's around $570 according to my calculations. (Not counting gifts to friends)

I dunno, maybe £30-40. The biggest things were Torchlight (full price - ugh), and the complete edition of Civilization IV.

@ajamafalous:  Christ indeed. That's an impressive collection you have there. I'm sitting at about $930 so far. There's still so many games that I need to buy too!

Edit: So apparently steam calculator only listed 53 games but my list is at 73 games, so my total might be a little higher, although just like everyone else steam sales saved the day!

I think like $70, back like 4 years ago when they had the deal to get CS:S, HL2, CS 1.6, and like 15 other games.

$842 says steamcalculator. It's a bit hit and miss, some games I bought on sale, others I bought new, while it lists current (reduced) price.

I tried the calculator and came up $0.00.  I think I need to register with the Steam Community before it works.  Anyway, I'm going to guess around $100.00-$130.00.  Except for the THQ pack ($50) and DA:O (~$40), the majority of my purchases are around $5.  The most recent being the Deus Ex pack for $5.

That is probably pretty close to an actual total if you play with the math on things I have bought on sale and at full price.

According to the steam calculator my account is worth  $1109.43, but quite a few were bought on sale. The worst part is that I haven't had time to play them all.

    $159.91 full price.

But as I only buy things on sale, the total I've spent is $59.93. That's a total of $99.98 in savings, damn I love those sales.

What I bought:  Borderlands, Braid, Osmos, Star Wars: KOTOR, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, Splintercell: Chaos Theory, Audiosurf, Torchlight, Trine
