I just built my first actually gaming PC. Now I am wondering what games I should buy. I know there is lots of fun indie stuff on Steam, but its hard to tell the good from the bad. Any suggestions? Preferably stuff that looks fantastic. Thanks!

The PC (Personal Computer) is a highly configurable and upgradable gaming platform that, among home systems, sports the widest variety of control methods, largest library of games, and cutting edge graphics and sound capabilities.
Just built my new PC, Suggestions?
Let's see. If you're into indie stuff, I assume that "fantastic" means "great artwork", not "great graphics". I'd get Super Meat Boy, Bit.Trip RUNNER, Blocks that Matter (I tried the demo, it's a really fun and relaxing puzzle game), Minecraft, Terraria, Braid, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, both Penny Arcade games, Plants vs Zombies... If you want graphics, indie stuff is usually more "artsy" than anything, so don't look there. Get your Cryses and Bad Company 2s for your graphics need.
Knowing what genres you like and your PC's specs would be useful, too.
I don't really have a spefic genre I like best. I will play anything that is good, haha. And yes my specs are as follows:
i5 2500k
GTX570
8GB Memory
Asus P8P67 Pro board
850watt PSU
Hard Reset, E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy, Killing Floor, Amnesia: Dark Descent, Eschalon Book I and II (if you like oldschool tilebased RPGs), Terraria, Trine, Braid, Limbo, Jamestown, Jolly Rover (if you like adventure games), Penumbra series, Red Orchestra 2, Mount and Blade series.
you should be able to run pretty much everything maxed out or 90% close to maxed out (i do and my cpu is worse than yours, but the gpu is better so it evens out i guess) so i would suggest:
The Witcher 2 (because its amazing and it LOOKS amazing, but turn ubersampling off, everything else maxed)
that should hold you over for a couple of months until the xmas sale, as buying indy games right now would be silly with the sale around the corner
There are 2 indie bundles on sale this week, they are both crammed full of good games. Sanctum is a favourite of mine, a combined FPS and tower defence game.
If you want to push your system to the MAXXX, I will go ahead and recommend Metro 2033. The graphics are sublime enough from a technical standpoint, but the way they utilize the technology to build their atmosphere--it's just surprising that a game that takes place almost entirely in an underground subway system can have some of the most engrossing, detailed environments you can find in a video game. So yeah, Metro 2033.

Definitely this amongst all the other well-said choices here. Join the Giant Bomb server while you're at it if you do!
Why the 950watt PSU? Are you planning on going SLI? You have over 300watts of power that are never going to get used in your machine.

Exactly what I came in here to say.
Thanks everyone. I will definitely check out Amnesia, Hard Reset, The Witcher 2, and Metro. Gonna dabble in some Indie stuff too.
@Chubbaluphigous: 850* And because I don't think this is the end of what I am going to do with this PC. Just want the extra juice, just in case.
I love to tell you to run out and buy a crap load of good games but we are only 3 months away from the Steam Christmas sale. I suggest you pick up games like RAGE, BF3, Skyrim (games you know you are going to enjoy) and put aside $100-150 for the sale rather than spending it now. Also Mods and TF2
