Hey Everyone,
Just curious how much damage did the Steam Perils of Summer sale do to your free time and sanity.
Here's what I picked up over the course of the week long journey with Steam.

Commandos Pack
Introversion Pack
Freedom Force Pack

I have no idea when I am going to have time for all of this. They were such good deals though.
Hit me up on Steam!

Steam Perils of Summer Sale: I Know What You Bought This Summer
I purchased:
Crysis
Xcom Pack
Introversion Pack
Lead and Gold
Puzzle Kingdoms
Rouge Warrior
I'm happy with all of these games so far, especially Puzzle Kingdoms, although I must admit I never played Puzzle Quest.
Hmm lets see what I bought.
Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 (Gift to a friend)
Left 4 Dead 2(Gift to friend)
Street Fighter IV
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Red Faction: Guerilla
Osmos
Flotilla
and it wasn't on Sale but I also bought the Arma 2 Combined Operations pack.
Overall, I'm pretty pleased with everything I bought. I would say Osmos may be the one game I probably could have lived without, but even so it's an interesting take on feeding frenzy.

Could had been a lot worse.
Eve Online, because I hate myself and want to force my brain to deal with several thousand diffrent menus
and Assassins Creed II, because wrist blades are badass.
And for some reason all I want to play Is Minecraft.

Oh god, when you list it all out it looks terrible. It was worth $20 for its excessive profanity alone. It still has one of my favorite quick looks.
Broken Sword II + III
Lead and Gold
Introversion Pack
Civ IV Complete (maybe silly with Civ V coming out soonish... But I haven't seriously played a Civ game since II so why not)

So yeah, I got a lot for my money. Although I already had STALKER from last Christmas sale and I bought Dawn of War 2 when it came out.
I went pretty ape shit on the sale.

- The Witcher
- Killing Floor
- Introversion Pack
- Serious Sam HD Pack

- Supreme Commander 2
- Day of Defeat: Source
- Civilization 4 Pack
- Flotilla
- Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

- Thief: Deadly Shadows
- Mount and Blade: Warband
- Prototype
- Red Orchestra: Osfront

- Borderlands
- Champions Online
I got....
Mount&Blade: Warbands- $14.99 - I loved the first, although the new combat is throwing me so much, I'm having trouble getting into it.
Introversion Complete Pack- $5 - I actually wanted Darwinia and Defcon, yet to play Uplink because everytime I go to download it tells me that the server's are busy, but whatevs.
Trine - $4 - Nice little 2D platformer, yet to play it extensively, lack of save points is frustrating.
Men of War: Gold Edition - $8.74 - Probably the best RTS I've ever played. I know I'm gonna sink a lot of hours clocking this.
Osmos - $2.49 - Really nice game, but a bit frustrating, needs to be played in spurts.
Civ IV Complete Edition - $29.99 - No explanation necessary, although a bit peeved it was dropped to $10 the day after I bought it.
GRAND TOTAL: $65.21
This sale was great. I really can't wait for the Holiday sale.
However, I am peeved at Amazon. I ordered a 1.5 TB drive from them last Sunday, and it just now shipped. Need more space for all these games.
I am glad to see I wasn't the only one who went crazy on Steam.
My best purchase by far is Shatter for $2.50. That game is all kinds of fun.
- Jim
- Bioshock 1 &2
- Borderlands + DLC
- THQ Pack
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Team Fortress 2
- Torchlight
- Trine
- World of Goo.
And if none of this seems like I paid too much, keep in mind my computer isn't good enough to run any of them T_T.
I should have all the parts here for my gaming computer and these games downloaded by sometime next week.
Hopefully...
I got a small indie pack, can't remember what was in it...
Also got Thief: Deadly Shadows and my big buy was the Telltale Everything pack. :)
"THQ pack.. sadly thats it... "
Dawn of War 2 + Chaos Rising +Company of heroes+expansions made that pack worth 49.99 on its own.
