Some of you guys need to calm down, lol. The trailer was impressive, but we still don't know much about the game. Now I can see why you guys end up horribly dissapointed with most games. Expectations unrealistically high.

No, there's a weapon choice and a gun choice in the menu. The gun thing seems to just be a secondary thing.

Welp, I'm sold. I thought I was Persona'd out with so much constant persona this and that since 4. I was wrong!

Holy cow now that was a great trailer, informative and flashy.

Can't believe it took this long to show gameplay. Again I damn near remember them saying it was supposed to be out last Winter. Anyways good to see SOMETHING, at long last. I hope there are more then four characters and I hate that one of them is a dumb mascot again. Everything else about the trailer looks great though.

I woke up and watched this trailer this morning, and I was absolutely blown away by every second of it. I had to immediately re-watch the trailer once it finished. That rarely ever happens for me.

This is arguably one of the best game trailers ever made. It is visually pleasing, the music that was chosen is very catchy, and they show actual in game footage! If they finish the game development with the level of detail that this trailer has this will be a defining game for the Modern JRPG genre.

I can only hope that Atlus doesn't try to rush it out before the end of this year-- though its been about 4 years since Catherine was released so you would hope they are applying the final touches to everything.

Bloodborne in the Spring. Witcher 3 in the Summer. Persona 5 in the Fall/Winter? Shaping up to be a good year for RPGs if you ask me.

That does suck. FeMC is the way to play P3 in my opinion, but maybe that's just because they got to take another pass at the script.

One nice thing about a FeMC would be that we wouldn't get stuck with a pandering, generic, pablum-spewing, LOLBOYSWILLBEBOYS sidekick like Yosuke or Junpei.

Yukari fills the best bud role much better in P3. I didn't even really like her when I played FES, but I really liked her when I played P3P.

Oh man yeah Yukari's social link stuff as a female MC is all real good (Junpei's is...okay, but really just kind of annoying).

Before they announced this I was hoping they would leave the high-school setting to explore other parts of japanese life, so I was kinda disappointed when they revealed it will be another high-school story. I would still play whatever Persona they make, but I'd love for them to take chances on the setting. For example, I'd love a Persona game playing as a bored, 30-40 years old salary man who for some reason gets persona'd.

However, this turned me all the way around, holy shit. This has a different atmosphere while keeping the persona aesthetic. It looks even better than expected.
