I've been playing griddlers for years, solved every puzzle in Picross 3D. I can't wait to start this game, but Amazon only lists a Japanese version. Is this game getting a physical release in North America? Or will I have to buy this on the e-shop? My (brand new) wife has a 3DS, but I've only used it once - to play through Link Between Worlds - and am not familiar with the infrastructure.

I'm pretty sure it's an e-shop exclusive (In the US currently, anyhow). The store is not terribly hard to use, just poke around in there, it's actually likely to be on the front page of the shop, or use the search function.
