    Pinball Machine vs. Arcade Cabinet

    The Internet Pinball Machine Database (ipdb.org) uses and promotes the term "machine" to describe the unit consisting of a table within a cabinet frame. Most pinball tables current and historic consist of machinery, where electronic arcade cabinets do not.
