How come no one complain about the fact that most of PS3 and XbOx 360 games run on 30FPS....HOW the fuck you don't complain about that.

I just bought a PS3 and now I have buyer remorse, how the hell a whole industry is based on a 30 Frame per second games. You may say I deserve it ,cause i didn't do my research but I did not expect it to be that bad, to have 90 percent of the games run on shitty 30 frame per second.

HOW COME NO ONE COMPLAIN ABOUT IT!. at least mention in the fucking review the number of the frames per second that the game perform.

FUCK THAT, I play on PC most games are not fucking optimized and run with shitty frames because it mostly a console port.I FUCKING PLAY CONOSLES they all have games with the shitty 30 fps.

Also Platinum games do 60 FPS. Because they're good devs like that.

Your eyes can only see about 16 fps. So your complaint is invalid. The problem is when the frame rate is inconsistent.

@Video_Game_King: are you serious....you can't tell the difference, you should stop playing NES games and join the modern games. if there is no difference why hell games like GOD OF WAR 3 and CYRSIS 2 run on 60 fps and they used that as a selling point.

If you can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 FPS something is really wrong with your brain. It's a night and day difference. I have to assume people saying this have little experience with any games that run at 60 FPS because even I noticed the difference immediately before I was educated on what causes it.

I prefer everything in 60 but I won't kick and scream if games run at 30, but I will get annoyed if games run like ass like GTA IV did on console. Or how about the first Mass Effect on 360? That game spends more time at 20 FPS than it does at 30.

Also Unreal Engine doesn't like 30 FPS on PC, the games feel sluggish as hell for some reason. Not really sure why, first noticed it with Unreal Tournament 3 and later BioShock.

As long as the framerate is locked or consistent most people don't really care.

This guy just PMed me the same thing, trying to get a rise out of me, probably becasuse I was the only one who responed to him like it was an actual thread. Heres what he wrote me.

There's a huge difference between 30fps and 60. I do hope the next-gen consoles put a bit more focus on having games run smoothly, rather than pushing better looking graphics. Particularly when it comes to racing games.

But most of the time it really just doesn't matter and people don't seem to care much. I don't think you need to be making this much of a fuss about it.

I find Rage to be a masterpiece. I know sixty frames certainly has something to do with that.

I find it way more funny that there are people in here claiming they can't tell the difference or that the human eye can't tell the difference.

I stared at that for about 10 minuets, and I cant tell. I can tell the difference between the 15fps. But not the 30 and the 60.

I don't really care. I can notice it in a CoD game if I'm looking for it, but it's not something that matters to me at all. As long as the is a constant motion to the animations without stuttering, it doesn't matter whether it's 30 or 60. I focu on playing the game, not nitpicking technical details

2. It's not like 30 fps are unplayable. You get used to it quickly and it's still pretty smooth, just not AS smooth.

30 vs 60 FPS is a big difference in smoothness, anything after becomes harder to discern, but is still possible to a degree.
