I considered cancelling mine, but will probably end up keeping it.
The launch lineup just doesn't interest me as much as I hoped it would. Sure I would like to try Resogun, but a $400 machine for that and some free to play games that I've already tried on PC?
Still like Forza and Dead rising, so the Xbox one feels a bit better in terms of exclusives. Might want to try Killzone if the reviews are good, but I always felt that was a mediocre franchise in every way possible. It's simply hyped because Sony never had anything to compete with Halo.
Even when next year comes along, I want Infamous and Titanfall, but between those two, it's Titanfall for me. Yeah, I could play on PC, but that's not where my friends will be. It's not even up for discussion. In terms of exclusives, I'm sure the PS4 will be great, but the first six months don't look as good compared to XB1.
As far as multiplayer games, it all depends on the services. PSN has always been a joke compared to live, and while I'm willing to see if it's good this time around, I won't be giving Sony the benefit of the doubt. They've done nothing to show they deserve it. Just saying that it will be great isn't enough. That logic is for children.
If you have a decent PC, you might want to stick with it. Unless you really love Killzone, almost all the other launch games that are multiplatform will be on PC as well.
Edit : The lack of DLNA has pushed me to the brink of cancelling my ps4 pre-order. Even when I wasn't playing games on my PS3, I still used it as a media center. Streaming files from my PC to the PS3 is great. Not sure what they are thinking.
