I think this TV spot was good. It beats the pants off the older PlayStation Adverts but i admit i miss Kevin Butler.

I like it, but only because I really love that song.

Well it's no Kevin Butler, but I do like the weird live-action style Sony ads have been taking lately.

Really good commercial. I actually really enjoyed the Greatness Awaits commercial from earlier this year.

That's fucking terrible. How much money has Sony thrown away on this stupid "Greatness Awaits" campaign that says jackshit about the thing it's supposed to be advertising? What's with this trend of making advertisements that only tangentially relate to the actual product?

I really like that slogan, but I'm not sure why. Both of these ads are pretty great. Sony has a long history of great ads, appart from the whole PS3 fiasco... Sony is in a really different place now.

Although no one can forget the PS3 ads, even though most would probably like to.

@friendlyphoenix: Sony have never shown advertisements which relate to the product for example crying babies or Kevin Butler.

@jimmyfenix: Yeah, Sony(at least SCE) has always been kinda really unorthodox in their advertising. Still, this whole thing seems like a huge waste of money.

Now I'm really pumped up about PS4 again...

I like it. Boring trifecta of games, though. Also, could use anybody but 25-35 year old white males. Still, singing is good.

I was afraid that they weren't going to use Lou Reed, but then I felt a little bummed that Lou Reed is being used to market the PS4, but then I realized that it's a cool song being used for a cool commerical, so fuck it. So glad they have fun commercials instead of that bullshit they pulled with the PS3 launch.

Thought the ad was fine. Got its message across of the PS4 being a gaming centered console. But what was the sword fighting scene suppose to represent? I get that the car scene was DriveClub and the shooting scene was Killzone.

It's cute. Now if only Naughty Dog would throw some money down for a triple A musical game...

My guess would be Elder Scrolls Online. The armor plus what I think is the Imperial City in the background would be my reasoning for it.

I love the original song, which is probably why I didn't really care for seeing it in this ad.

At least it beats the heck out of the only Xbox One ad that Microsoft has created so far.
