I have 3 platinum trophies. I have the Fallout 3, Burnout Paradise and Resident Evil 5 and plan on getting the platinum for Batman:Arkham Asylum, Call of Duty:World at War and inFAMOUS.  Once I play Assassin's Creed II, Dead Space, The Sly Collection, Ratchet & Clank Future:A Crack in Time and Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood, I'll be going for those plats. So question. Who cares about platinum trophies? How many do you have? What games do you plan on getting platinum trophies for and what games do you have platinum trophies for? I doubt anyone has any platinum's or cares about them but it never hurts to ask.

I've got two; Borderlands and Dead Space. I don't what motivated me to go for those two, since I usually just go for the trophies that I'll get along the way of the playstyle. I'd probably have around 6 platinums by now if I could be bothered, since there's so many games I'm only like 1-2 easy trophies away from.

I got screwed outta the Infamous one by going through my evil playthrough too quickly and efficiently - I've been a touch bitter ever since.

Well I generally don't go for them but I did get Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Uncharted 2 =)

I only have two, one in Assassin's Creed 2 and the other in Mini Ninjas. I'm not a big trophy addict so I don't really go out of my way to get the Platinums. If I can get them naturally as I play the game I will, if it means restarting it and playing in a very specific way or having to spend hours grinding then I'll not bother doing it. Also I draw the line at online trophies as well. That stuff is just daft.

I have 3. I got them in Prince of Persia 2008, Assassin's Creed II, and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time. I guess it was fun getting them, but I wouldn't even try in a game I am not playing fiendishly, or if they're hard to get.

Every game has at least one trophy/achievement that just seems not worth it to me, so no.

Yeah, once you hit level 12 things start to really slow down.  
 
I'm working my way through The Sly Collection right now, and once I'm done with Sly 2 and Sly 3, I'll probably return to New Vegas, although I don't know if I'll be getting the platinum for it, since some of them really don't fit my play style.

im really close on Enslaved. Arkham Asylum. and Infamous. and all 3 God of Wars. i would be close on uncharted if the trophy patch transfered all of your medal points to the trophies(they were for the same in game accomplishments) but they didnt and i was upset. i think platinums are totally worth it tho

I rarely got the patience for them, even if it's a game I really like, so I only got one. The Bionic Commando one.

I have three as well. Uncharted 1&2 and Assassin's Creed 2.  
I'm no sure what effect Platinum trophy's have on your levels and percentage, if any. 
Before I got my last trophy for AC2, I was at level 12 and 2%. When I got my platinum for that game, it changed to 4%.

26 for me, with like 2100 total trophies.

On 10 with about 5 games on 90%, annoying ones like impossible multiplayer trophies or FFXIII that require an extra 20hours put me off finishing them. I just go for them to get more out of games, I'm not that obsessed that I'd cheese them in private games etc. 

I don't have any trophies platinum'd but I was VERY close to Platinuming Demon's Souls. Since I don't want to update my PS3 I can't get it anymore because no online for changing worlds. I lost count of how many NG+'s I started with one of my characters. My favorite RPG of this generation.

I got quite a few in inFamous but I can't bring myself to play through that game again. Something about it just irks me. 

Although, I do have 28 Xbox 360 Completes which are essentially the same thing. Note that Completes count even though you may have finished all the achievements in the full game before the DLC came out.

The pure Bladestone is close to impossible to get if you're online .he only way I got it was to disconnect from the internet and turn world 4 in pbwt.  "

I have no clue. Last game purchase for me was God of War 3(which was when it came out, so ya I'm a hardcore PS3 player). Achievements is where it's at for me.

I'm Level 12 and I have 1 and that's in Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time. The trophy for the gold bolts was difficult due to those last puzzles you have to do to get em and me getting the game when there were no walkthroughs at the time so I felt proud when I figured it out. I never usually platinum games unless I really like them enough. I would have got a platinum for inFamous but that game was not good enough for a 2nd playthrough. 
 
Anyway I'm working on the one for Force Unleashed.....god that game is so repetitive but only 2 more trophies til platinum. Lightning Shield mastery and Repulse mastery I think they were called. I forget.  
 
When I get The Sly Collection that'll be 3 platinums I'll be getting. 

I have 6 platinums. I'm level 14, 13% with 1594 trophies.
