I recently bought Soul Silver for my DS, giving me a reason to actually play my DS for the first time in years. Apparently, things have changed drastically since I last played Pokemon (Ruby Version). Mainly, I found out about the competitive side of Pokemon and how much depth there is to it.  
What I wanna know is where is the one-stop place on the internet for all my "competitive" questions? I sort of  know what EVs are and that there are certain builds for each Pokemon that people use, but I'm still very noobish and find my self checking Google for questions like, "should I forget/learn "X" move?" I have heard of Smogon.com but it seems they haven't updated their website for HG/SS. Any tips?

Not exactly. That seemed to just have a basic description of what HG/SS is. Check out  http://www.smogon.com/ It's more along the lines of what I am looking for, but it seems they haven't updated for HG/SS.
