No article on overrated video games is credible IMO without a heavy mention of Rockstar and GTA. Talk about over-hyped, critic-darlings that recycle the same exact tired formula and call it a series. And what about all those EA sports titles, eh? No wait, EZ option 4 EZ popularity: CALL OF DOODY SUXXXXXXX.

At least those other games you mentioned try to do stuff differently. I fail to see how they're worse than Madden or another third-person shooter in another fake crime city.

Almost all of the time they do the game a great disservice. Playing the first hour of a game and you're skipping all the tutorials and complaining about how trivial it is, or how nothing is being explained to you and it's "too difficult"... maybe that's just every Brad QL ;P

What's disappointing is that the editors do act as though they're painting a fair picture of the game and even damn it right then and there if it doesn't agree with them. All I want from a Quick Look is to be entertained and maybe a little enlightened along the way (which is why I skip the Patrick and Brad videos :P).

From what I saw, Watch Dogs looked very boring to play. Then again, that Ubisoft "Style over substance" philosophy was never really my thing.

I honestly feel as though burning that money would have made much better use of it. Such a terrible, terrible game. Eff the people who made it and thought in-game jokes about how bad it is somehow made up for that.

Seriously, though. It's kinda ridiculous of them to put up a pre-order for something that has neither a price or a date and for that matter, full details for the hardware still haven't been released.

If I wanted to play the same old rinse'n'repeat GTA game, I wouldn't have sold GTAIV to help pay for Saints Row 2.

Seriously. Best upgrade ever.
