The fun of Dan being on Giant Bomb was the fact that you never really knew if he was playing a character or not. Having him back on now just because everyone else left just makes him look like a clown who got dragged on stage because the acrobats didn't show up. I actually think Dan is a really great human being but this just seems like desperate pandering.
I love programming and I love games that let me play with logic, like Little Big Planet, Trials and Human Resource Machine. Even though I appreciate their intent, for anyone with even the most basic understanding of programming, this game's teletubby-style pacing is really off-putting. I feel like it's taken like half an hour to explain how to fucking press B to jump.
Sounds like some wasted potential. Probably still going to buy this, though. Just for the map editor. They really beefed that thing up apparently. Hopefully the MP gameplay isn't *that* bad...
I feel people get way to emotionally attached to their favorite GB crew members and somehow feel the need to defend them. After reading the comments I thought I would be in for a gigantic shitshow but this wasn't half as bad as the comments made me believe. I actually kinda liked listening to them distilling the actual meaning of the category and even ending up with a good top 3.
World-building and exploration are some of my favorite things in games so I really hope this category, in one form or another, makes its return next year.
