I'm completely shocked to see that he is leaving. While it sucks to lose him, I'm excited to see what he ends up doing.

I really should check out Grim Dawn, I've been hearing a lot of good things about it. Hopefully it has a decent sale during the Steam Winter Sale.

As nice as it would be to have Patrick back on the team, you still have to remember that he moved back to Chicago and from what Dan mentioned on the stream tonight he is planning on buying a house soon. So even if he did rejoin the team he'd essentially be doing what he is doing now, he wouldn't be in any of the West or East coast live streams or podcasts. Be nice to have him around more, but it just wouldn't be like it used to be.

I'm really bummed to hear this! He was such a great addition to GBeast that it'll be weird to not have him around. Best of luck though Austin. Once a Giant Bomb Duder, always a GB Duder! <3

I've been having the same problem with the HTML 5 player not loading on Chrome since yesterday evening, didn't have any issues earlier in the day yesterday though. I've also tried to play HTML5 videos on FireFox and they'll load and run fine for about 10-12 minutes, but after that they stutter like crazy and fail to load further. Again had no issue prior to yesterday.

Nothing wrong with watching a movie that he recently discussed or being interested in trying out meditation after all the talk on the Bombcast, but there are some...other "Dan things" that one should not do. Steer clear of those and you should be alright. If you don't, well you'll spend the rest of your days playing Mario Party while eating Taco Bell.

So please be careful!

It's reasonable to assume that there are other things going on behind the scenes that are preventing the guys from being able to put up a lot of content in any given week, not to mention with E3 looming in the distance.

If anyone is interested, Vinny posted on NeoGaf a little over a year ago on what his typical work week is like (note: this was still during the building phase of GBEast). Some interesting stuff in that post that sheds some light on the process. There's always the possibility that they got hit with a lot of corporate bullshit recently.

As an animal lover, I hate when a pet dies or gets hurt in a movie. Marley and Me and the dog scene in I Am Legend both struck a major cord with me.

I also actively try to avoid watching Homeward Bound for this same exact reason.

Edit: I actually just remembered another one. Anyone seen End of Watch? That was pretty brutal too.
