The song Vinny was thinking of is “Jockey Full of Bourbon” by Tom Waits. If it were anyone but Tom Waits, I wouldn’t be commenting on a two year old video.
It sounds like Abby might have Oral Allergy Syndrome if eating raw fruit makes her ears and mouth itch. You can look up which pollens you react to and see which food allergies are correlated. I have OAS and it sucks.
On the subject of tie-in songs clearly reading the Wikipedia entry for their subject matter, that’s how “Deepest Bluest” by LL Cool J starts. But then it becomes clear that he thinks the movie is about human-shark hybrids in later verses, which is a much more interesting plot than Deep Blue Sea has.
Also, “the ocean is haunted” is my single favorite throwaway line in a song ever.
There’s no phonetic pun I can think of, but maybe something like “Halos Over Easy”? “Bacon, Egg, and Master Chief”? “Halo: Combat Evolved:: A Breakfast ‘N Ben Story::: Part One”?
