About 5 or 6 times.

Also once, I couldn't help but do a very flamboyant "HI FREEZE! I'm BATMAN!"

"I'm totally flabbergasted over here, but of course, we're not getting the entire story. One has to wonder if we ever will."

I remember feeling exactly that way, on November 28th 2007. It kinda stank.... BUT, check it out. Things worked out for the better.

I'd put my vote towards the Mass Effect series. While I agree that the way it handles the imported story from the first game is a little shallow, the overall story arc of the Reapers and their return to the galaxy is still perfectly in tact. Furthermore it did a great job of keeping me interested in all of it during Mass Effect 2.

I enjoy Assassin's Creed as well, but for me the simple change of characters, and timeline disconnects it from the first game. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, it could really culminate into an epic story. But for me personally, revisiting an established set of characters in a game I already loved, will bring me to it's sequel much more strongly than just about any other factor I can think of.

And to reference what MattBodega said about, if the third installment of Assassin's Creed is terrible then the whole story is pretty much shot... I have to say, I feel the same exact way about Mass Effect. I've been very interested in it's story, read all the novels, made multiple playthroughs on both games... and if it ends up pulling a Battlestar Galactica on me (Where the series was amazing, and the finale was a complete joke) then my appreciation to the series would drop right then and there. I know its harsh and unfair, but I really can't help that... to follow a story you deeply enjoy, in heated anticipation for its epic conclusion, only to be disappointed by bad decisions and writing..... is just the worst kind of shame in any kind of fiction.

It saddens me to NO END constantly hearing about these old classic Sierra titles being butchered and sold and acquired by new companies who had nothing to do with them... all in the name of money, as ownership of the companies licenses trades hands.

A Fan-Made game would have been awesome, because it would have served as a tribute to the series, made by people who understand why those games are great, and its just totally typical that this kind of thing would get shut down. YET Vivendi allowed the release of 2 horrible Leisure Suit Larry games, made by development teams and under direction who had no regard or involvement in the series.

Seems to me the fans were doing those booger eatin' retards a favor, and showing them what the fans of those titles truly wanted. Most likely they'll try to revive the series on their own, with a development team too young to know what a point and click adventure game even is.

120 inch 1080p HD projector. The 360 is sitting on the upper left shelf. One lucky day in Vegas made this room possible for us... and it still manages to bring a tear to me eye everytime I walk in.

The funniest one I ever saw, was the one where they were driving the hearse, with the casket falling out onto the street, in front of a crowded outdoor cafe. If I remember correctly, they had a guy in it, pretending to be dead, and the door flew off it a few times. Was hilariously funny.

Honestly I'd be happy either way. If Canada wins, thats awesome. If we win, thats cool too.
