Hi Alex, real quick protip for the chatwheel stuff. USUALLY everything on the right side will progress the convo further, and everything on the left is lore-related. USUALLY if you hit anything on the right, you won't be able to revisit anything that was on the left. Hope that helps, love the series.
Also sorry to double post but the only tip I'd ever give for Mass Effect players is make sure ya upgrade charm/intimidate all the time, stick to 1, don't worry about the other. There are options in the first game that you will be totally locked out of if you get offered a charm/intimidate choice and fail it. (FOR VINNY ONLY: a certain character will not appear in future games if this happens)
Alex I hope you don't feel bad about getting info-dumpy. If anything I was worried y'all would skip most of that stuff, but I'm very pleased you didn't! Keep it up, this is now my new favorite GB series
I remember when I first played Mass Effect I absolutely hated it because I couldn't understand the combat (I often rushed in way too fast), and only on my 3rd attempt did I find that it was everything I wanted from an RPG at the time, and now it's one of my all time favorites.
@revenantxenos: I feel like you missed the point I was getting at, which is that the qualifiers very recently just ended, with a lot of relatively unknown teams having just qualified. There's no set locations for the qualifiers, so sending someone "out there" or whatever doesn't make any sense until after the qualifiers are over. You very much overestimate how much anyone willing to buy these passes actually cares about the photos.
EDIT: Also would like to add that Valve, for better or worse, has always bent more towards what the players themselves want. I can promise you that them enforcing the rule you suggested would not go over well at all and would be a completely stupid thing to do.
