To me it seems the concept of this series is to be the most "GiantBomb" it can be. Any longtime fan will be aware that the guys barely read on-screen text, often miss crucial gameplay explanations and concepts, talk over cutscenes, and play badly in many quicklooks. This is Ben embracing all the criticisms and doubling down on them.
My advice is either enjoy the ride for what it is, or don't watch it if it's not your bag of tea.
Since everyone is raving about the music, FYI you can buy it from Steam! With or without the game.
The OST on steam still requires the base game to access due to how sound tracks are handled on steam like DLC. So you still have to purchase the game to get it. I didn't find any other place selling it separately.
If there's enough demand, sending some messages to the dev about releasing it on Bandcamp might work.
