I bought the GOG version of this a while ago and I missed "how to parry" somehow, so apparently it's easy to miss messages. But I'm definitely in the mood to give this game another go now. It seems really cool.
I bought the game, but had a hard time getting into it. Glad to see it being played more seriously though. I still play MK11 almost daily and I guess that's all I can handle for myself right now.
I had to take breaks to get through these songs, I'm sure you understand, Alex. I'm with you, most of these are absolutely terrible. That Disturbed cover was the first I had heard it, and I kinda like it in a weird way. The style reminds me of Manowar, which applied to a Simon and Garfunkel song is batshit crazy.
Maybe I'll be in the mood to finish the first game, but it hasn't happened in the last 7 years, I guess. I've always liked the honest dialogue and emotion in the game, but the rest of what's going on just never interested me. With Uncharted and these games, I always feel like the games run their courses halfway through, but I have to push to finish them.
The console looks fugly, and I'm not sure I will buy one, but there are a couple games that piqued my interest, namely Horizon II and Demon's Souls ("return of servers" edition). I generally don't care for many of the other Sony first party stuff, so I'll probably play some of the games featured today on PC instead. We'll see how some of these "exclusives," timed or otherwise, shake out. Since Horizon 1 is getting a PC release this summer, I wonder how H2 will be handled.
