The whole point of a console for me was that I didn't have to upgrade it all the time. If this is the new console strategy, I will opt to just upgrade my graphics card instead.

Regardless of price, I still need to be sold on VR as a concept.

I guess I don't understand the appeal of upgradable consoles. Why not just build a PC then?
