@example1013: yeah. same thing. nobel prizes are a formality now and that shouldn't have a say in showing the accomplishments of certain people. i'm not saying that everyone who has a prize is an ass, just that they should give it to people who deserve it or, if there is no one who fits the bill that year, DO NOT give it to randoms.
anyways...books...i've been lucky with my books till now, Müller being the only shitty one. Nevertheless, looking forward to reading one of her 250 page barfs till january -.-
Herta Müller (everything she wrote). That chick is insane and has 0 talent for writing. Nevertheless, Nobel Prize 2009. Just so we can know what the Prize is worth nowadays.
soul reaver. awesome story. decent gameplay. fun exploration. but to go away with a somewhat full experience you should at least consider playing soul reaver 2 right after that. maybe even defiance, although defiance is somewhat meh
hey ppl. i've been also thinking of buying this off of steam, but I want the game of the year addition since it comes with all DLC packs. A question though: how is the co-op on pc? i imagine it's way easier on consoles since they have a certain social focus, but is it easy to find some awesome dudes to play with (especially a year after the game was released) or do I have to hope friends, who have awesome pc-s (none of them do) and who bought borderlands (none of them have) are also playing this?
i thought the same thing. the first hour of mass effect is amazing, but some time after reaching the citadel the whole gameplay takes a nosedive. i was ready to declare mass effect the best game ever and then i played passed the first few hours ~_~
also...i thought dragon age was similarly awesome at the start and crappy at the end. both can't hold a candle to kotor
PS: if you really wanna give ME2 a shot you should at least try and go through ME. also take note that some of the secondary stuff you do may also affect your game in ME2 (if you choose to import). most of it is cosmetic though
