Like I said in the other article, no Kingdom Hearts, so screw this program.

Well, the one game I would want to bring over to Vita, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, isn't available digitally anyway, so I'll never personally deal with this program. That and pretty much every other PSP game I bought was just a cousin of a console game, some of them even turned up on consoles after too much while. How long do you think until Sony starts releasing "PSP Classics" on Vita cartridges?

I'm not a big fan of military shooters not because of any gameplay reasons but simply because I don't like playing as a soldier. That being said, if the story is good enough to make people pay attention to it, I might just have to check this out. Nice article, Alex.

I mean, I'll just wait a month or so until the inevitable price drop. It's a 3DS game, it's not like I need it on day 1 for multiplayer or anything. At least, that's what I would say if I owned a 3DS. That not being the case, something like this is not going to convince me to buy one any sooner. Consumers are getting a bit more patient and price drops are happening a lot faster these days.

As a guy that knows pretty much nothing about how to play fighting games, I picked up both SFIV and MvC3, hoping to use the games as learning platforms. Both times, I failed spectacularly in the effort to improve my skills, despite every attempt made by Capcom to make the games more approachable by a broader audience. Now, I'm sure there were plenty of dudes that picked up SFIV for their first fighting game and carried on just fine, some people have a greater affinity for these things than I do, but for me the problem was never about knowing how to block or pull off a complicated combo. Many times, I've heard fighting games referred to as a dance, so let me borrow that metaphor and say that I have no rhythm. Seeing a flurry of punches and kicks makes no sense to me on screen. I see pros playing these games and they look no different than when the game is played by my amateur friends, there's no place that can provide me with the comprehension of what a good play-style looks like and involves.

Capcom needs to figure out a way to teach new people how to play their game, adding more modifiers to it to alter the rules is just going to teach them to play it wrong.

Really glad I skipped DR2 now. A better version of the game with a better lead character for a cheaper price? Between this and GOTY editions, developers are making it really hard for me to go to the store and buy their game on day one.

Man, all you guys are so cynical. Can't you just sit back and enjoy the magic? Can you really fault it for not being on your system of choice? What's the big deal if they switch up the gameplay systems from time to time?
What's important is that it's still Kingdom Hearts, you're still traveling to wonderful lands and meeting magical characters like you all dreamed you could do when you were young. And even if the story isn't exactly moving forward (which it really is), all the enrichment these "side-games" are giving to the Kingdom Hearts mythos is just going to make the final payoff all the more amazing. Just like World of Color is dazzling guests almost every night at California Adventure, Kingdom Hearts can be so beautiful if you just open yourself up to it and it's trying to say.

Now to fanboy out for a second.  When I heard Yen-Sid talking about the mark of mastery I was all like ZOMG, and did you see that gameplay at the end I just about shed some tears cause that shit look SO DOPE.

I'll probably wait until Kingdom Hearts 3D drops like I was always planning, but god damn if it won't be a hard wait.

So after owning the GotY Edition since January, all this talk about New Vegas has convinced me to finally check out what all the hubbub is about. I've just made it to Megaton for the first time and I've already realized that this game is going to be one hell of an experience. Basically I'm creating this thread because I have no idea what I'm doing right now, and I'm hoping some veterans can give me some tips on how to get the most out my adventure. I'm sure as I continue my travels I'll come back to ask many more questions, but for now my query is pretty simple and I'm sure you've all heard it a thousand times.

What are the best weapons, armor, and general items to have in the game? Keep in mind I have all the DLC, so what should I head out to acquire first?
