I got over Halo as soon as I played Half-Life 2 on the PC.  I still played through Halo 2 and 3, but only once each, and I didn't get into online.  They're decent games, but I'm of the opinion that the Half-Life games are excellent.

@Seppli: I'm behind you on this one.  I never really had a taste for Wipeout, but the Rollcage games totally aced the high-speed futuristic arcade racing genre, in my opinion.  The critics never liked Rollcage, if I recall correctly, but I suspect that lots of them just didn't have the patience to get a feel for the way the cars handled.  Great, great, games.
