RESOLVED: Thank you BigWes1960 - it's not Alchemy, but when looking it up it led me to the one I was looking for - it's called Passage and there's a version available in the AppStore, so thank you very much!

I am looking for a board or puzzle type game I used to play in the late 90s on PC.

There were several variations you could choose from but this is one I remember most vividly: you had to fill the board with tiles, allocated one by one, by matching them either by colour (yellow, green, blue, red, possibly purple too) or by theme (animals was one, can't remember the other options), or both if touching more than one tile - so next to a green elephant for example, you could either place another green animal or an elephant of a different colour. You also had split colour tiles to place between tiles when you ran out of matching colour or animal combinations. The game ended when you filled the board, and I think you'd lose if you couldn't place all the tiles on the board.

I remember a dark green background and the reverse of the tiles was gold I think - but there were different options so these may have just been my settings, however I think the dark green was main colour as I remember it in the general menu and leader boards etc. There was also a female voice that gave instructions and that would tell you if you couldn't place a tile somewhere etc. I remember the sound effects sounded like a strumming or plucking harp when you placed a tile successfully.

If this description is too vague or no one knows it, does anyone know a similar game to this you can play on a tablet?

Thanks in advance!
