Fantastic review - I was initially interested in the game because of its lonely mountain traversal/climbing sim-trappings, and then put off again when I learned it was a deliveroo-like wrapped in collaborative social network tedium. It's disappointing to hear it's more of the latter than the former.

I'm having a blast with this game. Went in heavy on the Inland Empire voice and everything is so mysterious and compelling. Definitely see the PS:T comparisons in the writing, it's top notch.

I wish this was more infiltration focused, finding clues and items to find out the histories of the cult members and manipulate the situation would be a lot more interesting to me.

THPS2 for the Gameboy Advance was my introduction to the series, absolutely adored it. When I finally picked up a PS1 and a job lot of games I was super excited to see a THPS2 disc - and found it absolutely incomprehensible in 3D.

I love this series, if only for reminding me to never play GTA online again.

I feel like the 464 was always the odd one out between the Spectrum and C64. With the exception of Get Dexter, there wasn't a lot of great Amstrad-only software, and arcade game ports were an even more mixed bag than other platforms.

That said, the soundtrack to Glider Rider is awesome.

I understand that the developer has a roadmap to flesh out diplomacy in the coming months, which hopefully will alleviate some of Alex's concerns. I'm interested to see what happens with the game as a King of Dragon Pass/small scale strategy game fan but it definitely seems a little barebones as yet.
