I agree, the single-player had some shaky framerates in the the big climactic scenes, and the regenerating health really bothers me (although I'm so glad for the 007 Agent mode with the body armour), but it's got enough throwbacks to the original to keep me entertained for a while. Any word on whether DK mode made the cut? I haven't found it among the options, but it may be an unlock.

Goldeneye is still one of the best first-person shooters out there. It's just in the way it plays. The levels are well thought out, then guns shoot nicely, characters don't have too much or too little health... The game is just so well put-together that I still play it now and again.

I've actually heard Marijuana helps. Not sure if you're into that, but I've read it does. Just be sure to ingest it (brownies!) instead of smoking it, or if you do, drink even MORE water, as smoke really dries you out.

It appeared on Metacritic's recent "Best and Worst Horror Videogames" list, and I saw it came out in '95 and featured a lot of FMV. Did it age well, or is it clunky today?
