They fucking missed the dialogue AND subtitles at the VERY beginning, seconds into the mission, telling them that patient robes carry a chip granting automatic access to their rooms. I'm impressed.
Also getting to the helicopter pad bridge twice, wondering and confirming that you could vault and possibly get over there, also noticing that none of the guards are looking their way and they are good to go - and then turning around and walking away.
At this point I'm almost sure they have to be doing this on purpose
I would have thought the more reasonable explanation here is that we were busy looking for the descrambler that would have let us bypass the outfit requirements entirely, considering that we, you know, wondered out loud repeatedly about where to find it, and that I also literally mentioned outfits are keycards early on. Don't let that stop you from raging at an internet video though I guess.
That's true, I guess. And the keypads only said "Disposable Scrambler missing", not "wrong disguise". My apologies...

If it's not too late, Dan: You don't need to do ANY of the optional missions! Only missions with a yellow dot next to them (story missions) need to be completed to advance the story - although there are also "story side ops" which can appear, side ops with a yellow name. You don't have to do ANY of the subsistence, extreme or stealth only missions!
I repeat: ALL EXTREME, SUBSISTENCE and STEALTH ONLY MISSIONS ARE COMPLETELY OPTIONAL!
