This always seemed like a single player game to me, so I am fine with this news. Plus I don't have any friends who play games, so I never play co-op :(

Have not seen a lot of the Oscar nominees yet, so my current favorite is Gravity followed by Man of Steel, and Catching Fire.

I just finished this game as well and thought it was great. The combat is really fun and fluid, and the story was well done; much better than the story in DMC 1 when I watched Bradley May Cry. I've never played the old games because I thought Dante looked lame (funny how fans feel the exact opposite), but might give them a try now.

I loved the Hitman series back in the day, and completed Codename 47 and Silent Assassin around their release. I remember Codename 47 being really hard and "rigid" as you say, but still fun. Silent Assassin was a big improvement in every way. Despite loving the series so much, I haven't played through a Hitman game since. I bought Blood Money and Absolution recently and plan on playing through those soon though. I'll try and watch some of these episodes as I'm curious to see the old games again. Good luck with your playthroughs!

I would drop those two from the poll and throw on L4D3 which seems like a sure thing this year or early next probably. Try to think of another game that's obviously has to come.

The studio, Turtle Rock, who made the Left 4 Dead games just announced their next game Evolve. Go to Gameinformer to check it out.

The next Mass Effect game, we know they are working on one but they haven't officially announced what it is. Running on Frostbite 3, hopefully can play as any race, I am excited for it. Someone mentioned Mortal Kombat, and I wonder how they improve on MK9 and Injustice. Hopefully they improve the animation quality so it's smoother and not as stiff, and the online functionality. As for Fallout, I have a copy of New Vegas I haven't played yet.

It should be I think.

It's more Die Hard-ish than Indiana Jones-ish. But Laura is a badass and there are crazy moments. Not Uncharted 2 level but good ones. And the combat it much better than Uncharted's. It's very satisfying.

It's more open and explorable too. So different for sure, but very good take on a similar basic idea. It's not Uncharted 2 level but it's better than Uncharted 1 or 3 to me.

This is how I feel.
