@mjhealy: tone is lost a bit, I was being a bit tongue in cheek. For context I spent the night before trying to explain to someone how British Isles doesn't equal Britain. Don't mind me, "someone on the internet is wrong, must be pedantic!". My sense of humour was off!

Nice t'meet you ;-)

@mechanized: I think there are three settings on the camera, but AFAIK the UI stays there for all the mission stuff.

I picked this up on Vita (it's gorgeous), but it'll be a while before I get to play it as they've very kindly included a free version of God Eater: Resurrection. Resurrection is cross-buy also. Nice touch, for €34. The physical copy has a nice little note from the company president offering Resurrection as thanks for your support.

Compare that to the €60 POS that Hello Games released, with no end-user support whatsoever, I'm delighted.

@rayne117: That's a whole other conversation, but certainly has its relevance. It is a huge company. Still, it employs about 6000 people here. My interpretation of it all is quite simplified, there's a lot of more (and less) educated punditry going on about it here at the moment.

Hypothetically, a huge part of the reason Apple got that tax break is that we've a massive tech sector here and with various bubbles bursting over the years, a very large employer like Apple is to be kept in the country at all costs. It probably wasn't anticipated that they'd then run all their accounts through the country. It's not a common practice here, by any means, but there was a similar thing with Google.

Also, the republic being so conveniently located off the West coast of the UK and Europe, we're strategically the country of choice for a great many European HQs of US companies.

Also, nobody says "faith & begorrah", that was gibberish from The Quiet Man, that stuck.

Please note: Ireland is NOT a part of the UK or Great Britain and as such we will not be "Brexiting" any time soon. 90% of Irish would be highly offended at the suggestion. Due to our proximity to the UK we do get British TV, as discussed, but Ireland is a republic in its own right, for the best part of 100 years since we got out from under the British yoke. Do try to keep up. Think of it like your independance day, but for someone else. Good show otherwise.
