None of the war stuff every came across that well to me because they devoted so little time to it when compared to the rest of the narrative and they refuse to really tie it back into the main story at all until the very end.So I didn't every really think he was a dick, Marine Cole and Detective Cole are almost two completely separate characters.
Completely agree. I think if they would have devoted a little more time to the back story, instead of the flashback vignettes that I really could not get into, I would have had an opinion one way or the other. I found myself almost ignoring the whole Marine Cole all together.
I took umbrage with the ending eulogy of him and how contradictory he was. HE WAS NOT A GOOD FATHER, yeah we only saw his wife once and his kids mentioned in passing, but he was totally stepping out on his family. I was kind of left wanting more out of the whole arson desk to be honest. I think it just got a little too convoluted at the end. I'm fine with ambiguity in the ending of my games, but to leave this many plot threads left dangling is odd. Let's hope DLC addresses this in the future.
I'm having some issues with audio sync when fighting and conversations. It seems like the audio is about 1.5 seconds behind what's going on in the scene then it suddenly catches up. It's really weird. I have a launch 60gb fat.
@Thrawnkkar: Thinking I might transfer a Pally I'm leveling over to the server because I'm guildless right now and am looking for a group of cool people to do some dungeons with and such.
