I agree it seems rushed just from the opening cinematic that cuts to different music and is jarring. My game is crash and didn't load when I was leaving the mall. There are small things like icons still being above peoples heads even though you completed challenges. The frame rate isn't great, but didn't hinder my experience. I actually thinking about not playing any more, due to the devs saying they are working on a patch and maybe waiting for that to release. but the game is definitely lacking a final polish.
Undertale for me. I didn't enjoy the writing, thought it was boring, Hotland is one of the worst game levels of all time. I did think the combat was neat. I don't understand how or why this game continues to be over hyped and over liked.
Ordered Guitar Hero: On Tour through Costco website and got it 2-3 days before release was super cool and even made a Youtube video of unboxing it thought it would be a hit due to getting it early.
Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled is better kart racer than Mario Kart (all of them). I would agree that Mario Kart is a better party game, but CTR has way better mechanics, a sense of speed, and has less BS than Mario Kart
Mario 64 has way more bad levels/ level design than good ones
Links Awakening on GB might be the worst Zelda game. Poor dungeons and constantly switching items to get around the map and to back track is super tedious
Skyward Sword has the best combat out of any Zelda game when the controls work. Every 3D Zelda has an awkard lock and clunky side step that isn't fun, hard, and is just bad to play. Skywards Sword controls make it fun to attack enemies and when it works the sword fights can be pretty immersive
I had spikes with DOTA 2 in the past nothing super crazy just non-stop play that also can add an unhealthy mindset blaming and yelling at teammates sometimes unfairly. Sometimes would be playing literally all day, it mostly happened unknowingly since playing 6-7 games a day sounds like nothing but when in reality is 5-7 hours of playing. I am pretty okay playing with it now, playing mostly a few games Friday and Saturday night, and maybe 1 or 2 games during the week. Only becomes addictive to me if I lose a lot of games in row and I looking for a win.
Back in the day my brothers and I saw Gladius on the shelf and thought it was going a cool gladiator hack and slash game that we could all play, and man we were disappointed that it wasn't that.
