I feel like I am the only person who thinks this is super weird and feel off watching their stuff and potentially like a slap in the face. Everything sounded to me like they were moving on to other ventures. I find it very odd that they step away from a month only to start their own thing doing the same exact thing. Good for them I am glad that they are giving it a shot and already have great feedback, I am not trying to say anything negative about it other than that its suuuuppper wierd.

The best video game story that I have experience is from 999 and enjoyed the other two games story as well and are up there as my top stories. I think something that you can follow easily and has good twist and turns is what I enjoy. The Last of Us 1 and 2 I enjoy the characters more than the actually story and end goal of each. Most video games are about the actual world than the story, so it real tough to find a good story. No one is playing Mario or Zelda for the story, its about the gameplay and the world building those both do. Bioshock is one of my favorite games of all time and I like the story, but if you aren't paying attention to those audio logs, or even just the people talking over the radio without cut scenes I find it really hard to understand what is going on and have to look it up after. I think the reason why I like the 999 and the Nonary Games stories is simply because it is a visual novel that you read and is about the story which makes it for me easier to pay attention to and follow even when it starts going bonkers.

I am excited to see what is next for the site, I am upset to see the 3 of them leave and wish them the best of luck. I would assume that they all decided it was time to move on around the same time and as opposed to them leaving one at a time and it was better to have the 3 of them to leave on the same day. Over the past year with the work from home stuff I wasn't excited for the premium content that they had going. Minecraft was fun for me to have going in the background and I enjoy the Unprofessional Fridays is back! But definitely felt a little stale and nothing that made me go watch and watch and archive. I can't wait to see what Jeff and the other guys are going to make in terms of the premium content and see some new faces and ideas come to the table. I have seen too many dismiss the site due to the 3 of them leaving and canceling subscriptions which is I understand but find a bit harsh since if this is the site they followed for years without even taking into consideration that Jeff is still here and is going to shake things up . I don't see much excitement of what is too come and I just want to add that so that the GB community can be excited for the future of their site. I also know that the time now is to be sadden with the new of the 3 leaving more than it is about the future until later this week. But we need to remain positive even with them leaving.

Immortals Fenyx Rising seems to get a lot of unwarranted hate. Yes the writing isn't great, but I think it is super fun to play and I enjoyed doing the puzzles and the challenges. The game is $30 now and i highly recommend if you want to play an action open world game. I think the combat is decently fun as well. Its unfair also to compare this game to breath of the wild simply because you can climb on anything, but this game is not breath of the wild and they are two separate games. Thats like me saying that BOTW copies GTA because they are both open world.

I have been trying to get better at this last year and this year. I have cross a decent amount off and have been trying to first do the games I purchased first rather than a PS plus or a free game. Though its hard because this year there have been 2 PS plus games i really wanted to play Control and FF7 Remake so it stalls everything. Plus I have a bad habit of buy games as well which I really am trying not to do as much but every once in a while something will catch my attention. The other issue is me getting excited to play a backlog game, where after I complete one, I don't often feel like moving to the next right a way because it can feel like a chore so that is usually when I play something else until I get the desire to play the backlog.

@bladeofcreation: I subscribe to Giantbomb because I enjoy watching their premium content and get something out of it. I don't subscribe to twitch streamers because their streams/shows are free and there is no reason to subscribe.

I agree that there needs to be more of an incentive to subscribe and/or donate to the streamer. Having exclusive emotes just isn't enough, especially for the people who do not even use the chat. I understand that it's about supporting someone and the people who have the money can and will do that. But at the end of the day it is a product they are selling they are selling themselves in a way. I know that some channels do have subscription goals and all that which is fine and does work. I might be one of the selfish people but I would probably donate and even subscribe to more channels if I got more out of it. I only use my Amazon Prime sub for one channel a month because I do feel like I don't get much out of it subscribing to more channels besides a thank you. One again I get it is about being supportive, I think they are missing the point and can really up subscriptions and tips for people if there is more incentives to do so because I know I am not the only one who has the same mind set.

* Just thought of an incentive of something like subscribing to 5 channels gets you a free game or something like that.
