Deus Ex’n It Up

I've slowly been getting into Deus Ex: Human Revolution on the PC (of course!).  I'm not far enough into the game to have seen all the mechanics and what it has to offer, but so far, I'm liking what I'm seeing.  It's definitely got that old Deus Ex feel to it with its dialog choices, character upgrades and mountains of computers to hack. To me this is a good thing. While most FPS's have become narrow-pathed, scripted roller-coasters, Deus Ex offers choices on the route to take. Wanna kill some dudes? Do it. Rather be sneaky and crawl through the vents? Go for it.  Wanna sneak in undetected, totally blow it and have to fight your way out? Too bad, you're doing it anyway.

Getting ready to go back in right now.  There's computers to hack and emails to be read.

Side note: It's weird that I actually want to read emails in the game, but in real life, "select all" + "delete" is my go to solution.

Here's 4. Pick 2.

So the PSN is back up and as you probably know, freebies for everyone! There are five games available to choose two from in the US of A.  I already have Wipeout HD so we're marking that one off the list.  That leaves Infamous, Little Big Planet, Dead Nation and Super Stardust HD. I have no idea which games to choose.   Infamous and LBP are full-size retail games, so getting them for free definitely has its appeal.  Although, I've played the demo for Infamous and it really didn't do much for me.  As for Little big Planet, I'm not much into making my own levels.  Is there enough good content out there to be entertained without digging into the level creator myself?

I remember SSHD being one of the first demos I downloaded on the PS3 although outside of that, I don't remember much.  So early PSN game, still good?

Finally, that leaves Dead Nation.  I like shooting.  I like zombies.  I double like shooting zombies.  So how is it?  I've seen good reviews and I've seen bad reviews for it.

So, if anyone reads this, feel free to leave me suggestions in the comments.

Persona 3 forever

My backlog is starting to build and soon it may bury me.  Mortal Kombat sits alone, relatively unplayed.  The Witcher 2 is loaded up and ready to go, but everything is being held up by Persona 3.  It. Never. Ends.  I'm enjoying it for the most part, but part of me wants it to end just so I can move on.... to Persona 4 which is sitting next to the PS3.  What have I done?!
