On Ben's point about Clap-Trap: it sounds like Clap-Trap and his antics could be a self-loathing, self-insert written by Randy Pitchford...
...from a parallel universe, that is!!! (continuing the theme of awkwardly shoving-in surface-level 'Rick and Morty'-related stuff here.) Self-reflection, personal improvement and a sense of shame don't seem to be the strong suit of our universe's Randy.
For him and for other reasons, I wouldn't ever want to play this. But thanks for the QL, all!
@manburger: Ah, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
They really are great games, aren't they? I don't know about you, but they also marked something of a relief - for the sake of the studio and the series (especially after 'Absolution' and then 'Squexit', as those in the studio referred to it (noted throughout the recent Noclip documentary on IOI and 'Hitman' - well worth a watch if you have yet to do so, by the way.)) And then, to return like this...I think it was in the 'Hokkaido' QL where Brad said something along the lines of, "After seeing that first trailer at E3 last year, who would've expected us to have made so many videos on this game?" Certainly none of us!" It's great to see.
Agreed - I could go for eternal Hitting, too. But yeah, I do hope they're pacing themselves over at IOI. Perhaps they'll find time for a breather next week (once the Resort drops on Tuesday, I think?) before going on with 'Hitman 3' (which is all but confirmed in the aforementioned documentary.)

Could this battle of the century also feature the surprise, first-ever in-game incarnation of The Hoop Gawd (loaned out from EA like Sony Pictures loans out Spider-Man to Marvel Studios sometimes)?
