GOTY 2016
Still playing a lot of games from this year but here are some of my favorites. I included some games that were not released this year and some that I have yet to finish.

My favorite Uncharted.

Haven't finished Trails of Cold Steel II yet but this entry represents both games in the series.
These games aren't for everyone, the slow pace and long build-up in part 1 make it difficult to recommend, but I still think ToCS I & II are some of the most well made traditional JRPGs I've played on the Vita and even PS3.

I rented Titanfall 2 for a night and loved it. Plan to buy a copy and finish the game before the end of the year but it is definitely my favorite shooter I've played for some time, even from what little I've played so far.

Was my favorite shooter from this year until I played Titanfall. Still really fantastic. It's sad to say, but I didn't play any original Doom in my youth so I was instead weirdly getting nostalgic feelings for Chex Quest, which I was obsessed with as a kid, while playing 2016 DOOM.

One of the best non-Takumi Ace Attorney titles but still far from perfect. Still had fun with it, with Episode 2 being my favorite of all the game's cases.

I got a lot of problems with these games. Everything in terms of story and characters are a big downgrade when compared to Awakening. The gameplay and visuals, however, are a big improvement and I did really enjoy my first playthrough of Fates. But after my second time around the game just became monotonous and I needed a long break. Don't know when I'll play Revelations.

My favorite Telltale game.

A game with so much charm! Difficult controls and occasionally annoying combat didn't stop me from falling for this game hard. Can't wait for the sequel next year.

A game with so many good ideas and even a pretty good story. Hope the remake coming to the PS4 smooths out the title's rough edges.
