Those doughnuts (eh!) looked surprisingly pedestrian. As a Canadian if doughnuts aren't plain Jane varieties from Tim Hortons any other notable shops all sell crazy next level creations. Was kind of assuming you would be eating some, like, blueberry elderflower or something.
I may have missed something, but are they not going to watch the Bus saga? That is basically now all available in Kai form and I'm pretty sure it's part of the official canon (unlike Dragonball GT). It'd be disappointing if they didn't see it all the way through for me personally.
In regards to Anthem as another Destiny, I guess it comes down to where are bulk of the development efforts go. Destiny seems like there wasn't much meat to the main game, and the only thing to look forward to was the "hobbyist" late game. Grinding for most people is boring.
If Anthem has a full enough main game with story content and progression so that someone can get 50+ hours out of it before the giant "hobbyist" post-game grind sets in I think anyone will be happy with it. Otherwise it'll just be another loot chase, which in an action heavy shooter game just doesn't work as well as in something like Diablo.
Just gotta say I've been missing out on reading these comments from earlier episodes, 'cut ya'll got some wildly niche knowledge on things Toriyama said and did back when DB was being written.
