This game is weird because while it is profane and juvenile, it is not really offensive. If they were actually doing the schtick of what a shitty kid would write in their notebook they would have to include a bunch of stuff that would actually land them in hot water (e.g. stuff related to race/gender/sexuality etc) but since they can't do that it sits in this middle ground of like trying to be edgelord-y without the tools to actually do that.
I've never played this but it almost seems as if there is no swing to the rhythm bar (it follows a strict quantized beat) but hip hop inherently has a lot of swing to it so following the rhythm of the song makes you fuck up. So weird!
@danryckert I recommend the book "How to teach quantum physics to your dog" by Chad Orzel, it is a pretty layman friendly book about this kind of stuff if you are interested.
