I saw it as well. Apparently 4chan got wind of it, and that's why bids went over $10,000 earlier. I'm not sure if it genuinely is a case of mean parents, or if it's some kind of joke. In any case it's got all the attention the poster could have hoped for.

Also, I've no idea what Bey-Blades they were playing with but it's fairly unlikely you can ruin a bathtub with them. I could be wrong though, it's been years since I've played them.

poor kids. maybe the parents should  have looked into what the damage done. she should maybe have bought them an actual arena for them. parents should have got them into a better anime.

Those poor kids. Yeah they might have realized the damage they were doing to the bathtub but to post their picture online? If their friends/peers in school get wind of this they won't be able to live it down.

Or if we go way back there was this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy where you could strap your dude down to this table and then pour this green ooze all over them. In the end I would just get it everywhere and I totally ruined our bedroom floor with a giant green splotch.

I used to work at a daycare and have had firsthand experience with these beyblades.
They are a spinning top of sort, with a meta ball bearing bottom, they can fuck up a wooden table real good and I imagine could probably mess up a bathtub.
I can understand the parent selling the toy to teach the children a lesson, put posting the picture seems like overkill.

If you don't feel like whipping ass, public shame is a good way to get your kids to stop being house trashing assholes. But only if they haven't hit puberty yet. Once they hit puberty, you can't do this anymore or they'll totally suicide on you.

I think it's stupid that people make fun of and call people names for enjoying a different culture's form of entertainment. 
 
I used to be made fun of and called a wigger when I was much younger for enjoying Jazz, Funk, and Hip Hop and I've got to say, it's fucking stupid.

It has nothing to do with "high and mighty", it's a common fact that Bleach has a far better plot and character than a show like Beyblade.  One set of anime is made for nerds, and another is made for people who just want something decent. "
