@bakoomerang: it's definitely pronounced "poo-zhoh" but I have sometimes heard Brits pronounce it closer to "pur-zhoh".
As a Brit I nearly spat out my drink when Jeff pronounced it "poo" it just sounds flat out wrong... and it seems it is. Looked up the correct French way to pronounce it and it's the way us Brits have been saying it, so I don't know where you guys got "poo" from.
This podcast may have ruined the whole podcast for me. I guess it's good that it's over.
For years Jeff has talked shit about anime and Dragon Ball Z only to find that after trying it, he actually really liked it. ... then "My Hero Acadamia" pops up as something to check out and Jeff's words are, "that looks like trash."
Pretty sure Jeff's being facetious about My Hero dude. Playing it a little too straight perhaps, but I wouldn't take it to heart.
The whole "anime is for jerks" thing was never that serious either. What Jeff does genuinely seem to dislike is parts of the culture and fandom surrounding anime, which is completely understandable.
Jeff is right, some of the art in these episodes (particularly the Gohan fight) is top notch stuff.
The reason Vegito doesn't have that weird jacket is because the clothes Gotenks wears are the clothes worn by the race that created that fusion dance technique. Potara fusion just mixes the clothes of both people together. Oh, and Vegeta's voice comes through a little more because when the voice actors do that voice Vegeta goes first and Goku matches his lines, so Sean has to match Chris' Vegeta voice to make them mesh well. When they voice Gogeta, Goku goes first so it sounds a little more Gokuish.
I doubt they could guess where things go next if they tried. They got through Gotenks so it can only be better from here out and there's some pretty good stuff coming up involving their favourite characters. I'm gonna be real sad when it's all over.
Also when the heck are they getting Chris Sabat on here? I know that must be hard to arrange but it really needs to happen, he's such a cool dude.
