@kr0gan_73: I don't get it but I see your criticisms a ton for games like this. Im trying to put my finger on it too. for some reason, this game doesn't click for the reasons you listed, for you and others. My thing is, this game's trappings are the same in GTA. A huge detailed world, NPCs don't talk to you., GTA is pretty empty IMO or kinda full IMO it all fits to how much people you want to bump into walking a few feet. The cops get on you like the gta wanted system, the story takes time to build up, everything this cyberpunk game does gta does yet gta gets praised and cyberpunk gets the tisk tisk should have been better. I'm thinking people wanted what they got in deus ex, more conspiracy theory mixed with blade runner and not hip, I'm so cool cyber punk. honestly, i think even though the two games say the same stuff in computer terminals, i loved the deus ex manner of explaining stuff, like praxis kits and Nero surgery and how it all felt near future (i heard the creator did that on purpose). Cyber punk seems like the kid who read Neuromancer and made a mass appeal wiki version with hip stuff and cursing to appeal to sticking it to the libzzz etc.
Anyway back on track. Would you say a game like Shenmue 2 is more immersive since you talk to anyone and people exist as only one ai that goes through their own routine. Would you take a smaller game with that level of care. How would you make cyberpunk good, what changes would make it your goty.
I think part of the problem (and reason that people expect more than GTA) is that GTA 5 came out 7 years ago.

@janman Native Instruments was trying to do something like Fuser but for DJs and on DJ hardware a bit ago. Basically, they were trying to get people to make MP3s that would split into stems when used with Traktor (NI's DJ software) and they made controllers designed for using those files in fun ways (you can check them out on the page linked above). It was kinda cool but worked best with stuff that had relatively few instruments like techno or deep house and I think it's all but dead now.
I haven't even watched yet but I will echo comments I see about the value of vanilla MHW. Playing some of the vanilla MHW will help you understand the monster achetypes (kadachi vs paolomu vs etc, etc) before you face more powerful and slightly different versions of those monsters later on. With the Guardian set you could play through those earlier monsters with a lot less fear of failure and 'download' some movesets.
Also, be prepared to do a lot of grinding. Get in the habit of pressing 'b'/circle whenever things are getting highlighted. I feel like if my inventory isn't full by the end of a quest I did something wrong.
